Sapno se bhare naina...

Bagiya bagiya palak bhaage... Titli phir bhi haaqth na laage
is pagle ko kaun bataye, dhoond raha hai jo tu jag me,
koi jo paaye toh mann nahin paaye,
sapno se bhare naina, woh neend hai na chaina..

Why do people not understand that they keep searching for something that does not exist... and when they think they have found what they have always been searching for, they think of what does not exist and keep searching for the same. I guess it is the irony with everything that we think of. If we have to think of what we want in life, we always get into a situation that we don’t think of what we have. In the process, we keep focusing on what we want to have. In the end, we are left with what we have been thinking of every time, the pursuit of happYness, and in the process we realise after having sought for something that we never thought we had, but always kept searching for what we always wanted. Please remember always to understand that you should always appreciate what we have now rather than on focusing what we have.

Aisi dagar koi agar jo apnayae,
har raah ke woh ant pe, rasta hi paaye...
Dhoop garasta jo pair jaalaye,
Mod toh aaye, chaon na aaye...
Raahi jo chalta hai chalta hi jaaye...
Koi nahi hai jo koi use samjhaaye...

Dreams are important. Our life would be meaningless. What happens with most of the people is that they forget the end of the dream. They keep thinking of the means. Always remember this, no matter which path you tread - choose to follow, you will always end up in the crossroad of what you have and what you want to have. You will always reach where you did not want to, in the process of searching for what you had.

We keep looking for a reprise, in a parent, in a friend, in God, in people we believe in. We work hard towards what we want in life, and then realise that we don’t have the guts to live with what we have always wanted and always never wanted to lose. I guess this is a vicious circle that we keep thinking of. If we were to understand what we always searched for with all our efforts, we would have not worked so hard towards it. We just had to acknowledge it.

Door hi se, sagar jise har koi mane,
paani hai woh ya ret hai, yeh kaun jaane,
jaise ke din se rain alag hai,
such hai ala gaur jaan alag hai,
par jo yeh dekhe woh nain alag hai,
chain toh hai apna, such hai paraye...

Everyone believes what is being told to them. In case they did not know, then they would give a definition of what they have seen in their life. Objectivism, as I know it. I have always wondered why we call something that is taught to us, or not taught to us – the way we call something. We call something as good because we have known it to be a good from someone else. Why don’t we call something good by the way we define. I guess anything that makes someone happy is good, starting from a cheat working on their bait or a parent watching their child smiling. Everything else is bad if it does not bring a smile on our face.

We are told that we are surrounded by a sea, in reality it could be a desert or just water. We are too immersed in the learnings we are given since our birth that we are biased, whether we have it or not, we are too lost in what we should not be. Sphere: Related Content
